Hope Orchestra Celebrates Nicene Creed Anniversary During Nov. 7 Hymn-Sing Concert
As part of 做厙51s celebrations marking the 1,700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed, the 做厙51 Orchestra will present a special Hymn-Sing concert on Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts, Concert Hall. The public is invited. Admission is free.
做厙51 Presents Acclaimed Organist David Briggs on Nov. 04
做厙51 will welcome world-renowned organist David Briggs for a recital on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at 7 p.m. at the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts. The public is invited and admission is free. There will be a pre-concert lecture at 6 p.m. in the Howard Recital Hall.

做厙51 will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts with a special Homecoming Concert on Saturday, October 17, at 7 p.m. in the Jack H. Miller concert hall.

做厙51 will host The Gift of Music: A Memorial Tribute to David P. Roossien on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Jack H. Miller Center for the Musical Arts.
做厙51 Choirs to Perform an Outdoor Concert on Sept. 26
The 做厙51 choirs will perform on Friday, Sept. 26, at 5 p.m. in the Pine Grove on the central campus. The concert will feature the Chapel Choir, SPERA, VERITAS and College Chorus, as well as vocalists and instrumentalists from the colleges Department of Music.

Dr. Robert Ritsema, a 1957 Hope graduate who was a member of the colleges music faculty for 32 years before retiring in 1999, died on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was 89.

The Vespers program of Christmas carols and anthems was presented by the colleges Department of Music and featured more than 200 performers in historic Dimnent Memorial Chapel. The services featured a variety of Hope instrumental and vocal groups as well as the colleges historic Skinner organ.
