Dr. Kevin Chastagner
Associate Professor of Management
Kevin Chastagner came to Hope in 2020 after eight years living and working in China at Peking University. His Hope courses have included Management Perspectives and Theory, Strategic Management and a senior seminar focused on creativity. He also has experience teaching international business, strategic entrepreneurship, technology management and case analysis.
Kevin taught what was thought to be the first international business course in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as a visiting faculty member at Pyongyang University of Science and Technology.
His primary research interests are in strategic management, including innovation, entrepreneurship, business development and international business.

Outside the College
Kevin and his wife, Nicole, are originally from Washington State and are both passionate about higher education. Additionally, Kevin, Nicole and their two kids enjoy bike rides, games and helping Nicole out with her flower business.
